1951 Chevy deluxe convertible Model - 2134

Production on this car was 20,172 . This car has been in owners personal collection for 7 yrs.  Motor is a 235 6cyl. with a power glide auto trans. There is 51,818 orig. miles on the car. No rattles or problems when driving this car or they would have been fixed. The only draw back to this car in my opinion is that there is a little checking of the chrome on the wing windows.

Paint - Moonlight Cream was only available in convertibles and Bel Air  hardtop coupes. The car was repainted back the orig. Moonlight Cream approximately 17-20 yrs. ago, but still looks fresh. The body is very straight and body lines match excellent-Hood, Trunk, Doors, Fenders, ect.

Top - Power black top with dome light was new when I got the car 7 yrs. ago and still looks like it was just installed. The hydraulic powered top will hold its self in any position without leaking off.

Interior - Is unbelievable all orig. black leather seats with black and gray door panels that have never been replaced and is in excellent condition.

Chrome - Stainless - This car has superb chrome grill, bumper, stainless plus all the extra's.

Extra's - Suspension was lowered properly in the front with 2" drop spindles so it continues to have all of its spring travel and smooth ride. Rear end remains and stock height and the car sets right. I have all five of the stock rims with trim rings, hub caps, and white wall tires. I installed new American Racing wheels and radial tire, A split header with dual exhaust which are the only non-stock things on the car.

Factory options - Some of these options were standard in deluxe cars but many were not - Turn signals, Dash panel ashtray, Deluxe push-button radio, Heater and defroster with in dash controls, Wheel trim rings, White wall tires, Thirty- nine hour stem wind clock, Fender skirts, Fuel door guard, Locking gas cap, Door handle shields, Front and rear bumper wing tips, Master grill guard, Trunk guard, Left-hand spotlight and mirror combo, Dome light, Fog lamps, Front and rear fender stainless steel gravel guards, Impala-style hood ornament, Radio antenna, Back up lights, Day night glare proof review mirror. A couple of non factory extra's of the 50's era is a compass and a reflector on the dash to see stop lights. Also has OR. 1951 plates and the orig. jack in the trunk with instruction tags still on it. This car comes with all manuals and lots of literature I have found on 51 Chevy's. There shouldn't be any worry's about biding on this car it has never been a rusty patched up piece of junk. No disappointment !  E-mail with any questions or call (541) 942- 8888 and ask for Bob this is my personal car. Our website is www.hamiltonsclassicautos.com
