Hello,

I am one of many Americans that want the opportunity to raise money for our troops in Iraq.

We want the money we raise to go towards the purchase of needed body armor and other much needed supplies for our men and women sacrificing so much for our country and for the rights of other citizens around the world.

To show my personal commitment I will be giving a portion of the proceeds from the sale of my home to help the U.S. Armed Forces to purchase the needed body armor. My realtor will also be donating his entire commission to this cause. I will be matching him dollar for dollar and if the buyer’s realtor also agrees to give their entire commission, this could generate almost $30,000.00 dollars worth of revenue for our troops. In addition to the money I will give…through my networking efforts, the amount of money that can be raised very likely could be substantially more.

Given the fact that our government has been strapped for cash and lack the funds to provide our troops with optimal support, many of my fellow Americans want to help our country and our troops… even Americans against the war are for supporting the troops.

On two previous occasions I have asked many of our nation’s legislators to act as a liaison to help us to send the funds to the appropriate people at the appropriate department. Congressman Peter DeFazio has been the only Representative that has sent a letter back to us acknowledging our goals. He was the only one to take our letter of request to the Pentagon.

It is my hope that one of you, the future leader of our country will send me the contact addresses of the manufacturers that are responsible for the production of all the needed items for our troops.

Just as our leaders need our support, we are asking for their acceptance and support to empower all Americans to be proactive in helping the representatives we admire to accomplish the goals that they consistently promise to achieve.
