A Petition that I was forced to file. Here is a letter of appreciation from Food for Lane County. I know what it is like to go hungry. I have starved as a kid because my mother did not receive adequate child support and the wages she earned was not enough to fill us to our satisfaction. When I was in the Marines I witness mind-numbing poverty and starvation that people in other countries suffer as well. As an adult I faced homelessness and hunger. It is for these reasons and others that I have vowed to help alleviate the hunger of others. I am grateful that wonderful organizations such as these exists and grateful for the wonderful people that volunteer their time and efforts to make the world a better place.
