TO: The U. S. House of Representatives &
U.S. Senate C/O Congressman Peter DeFazio of United
States of America
This is a petition for those people who are
interested in contacting our legislators & Union Representatives
who would like to express their desire to see that when
employees grievances has finally gone through different levels
of the grievance procedure or arbitration that these proceedings
be recorded & make available transcripts to all parties
involved, -- even the employees.
This petition or letter of interest is to
assert our rights as citizens & employees that during an
arbitration that either side of the conflict should have the
right to be present during any or all testimony of the person or
organization that they either party is in conflict with. This
would allow either side to contest assertions by either party
that may be untruthful, or misconstrued.
Many social & union pundits & many
employees that have experienced a arbitration have complained or
have observed that the current system allows too much room for
unnecessary mistakes, false testimony that is not allowed to be
contested, or negligent or incompetent representation whether
this negligence or incompetence is intentional or unintentional.
The current system does not provide the grievant with any avenue
to remand any negligence or incompetence.
This petition or letter of interest is to
assert our rights as citizens & employees that this current
system or the way arbitrations are conducted by government
agencies or some employers in the private sector must be
changed.
