A horror long forgotten is released on an Oregon college town. As the bodies pile up, little more than leather-wrapped skeletons, it is apparent something unearthly is on the loose.

A journal is discovered that tells of similar horrors in the 1880's. The first killing brings in Charlie Akers, a Lane County Sheriff Deputy; the second, Al Cooper of the Spencer Rapids Violent Crimes Unit.

Soon, however, handyman, his girlfriend and an unusual older woman named Mrs. Gilroy are drawn into the hunt. As the body count continues, it's a race to see who will face the final confrontation with the beast.

Half of the net proceeds from this book will go to charity.
