This workshop opportunity offers a full day of instruction and practice in the ancient method of
Intentional Shamanic-Spirit Journey.We will explore the Ancient Views which honor the Web of Life and discern our own place in this tapestry. Within this weaving, we discover and "ReMember" our birthright: to experience direct, mystical relationship with our own sources of wisdom, healing and inspiration.
Our day will include teachings from especially the Hawai'ian mystical tradition and a number of other Shamanic and Spirit Path practices. We will discover that these ancient pathways can continue to inspire and guide our modern lives.
This Workshop is highly experiential! Beginning journey methods will be taught. Ample practice and guidance will lead you to discover your own portal and journeying pathway into the Spirit Worlds. Intentional Journeys will foster connection with compassionate spirit helpers and personal guides. We will explore simple practices to connect with these wise resources on a daily basis to enrich and bring harmony into your life.

“Awakening to the Ancestors”

This Workshop will begin with instruction in the Ancient Method of Intentional Shamanic-Spirit Journeying. Through teachings and practice from especially the Hawai'ian and other Shamanic/Spirit Path Traditions we will learn to follow the ancient pathways into the Spirit Worlds and there discover our personal place of resource and refuge in those Realms. Then our focus will turn toward "The Ancestors." This term speaks to more than just those who have come before us via our Blood Lineages: half from our mother and half from our father.
In many wisdom traditions, The Ancestors are also those living or passed, connected to us via various lines of Lineage and who are willing to support us with wise counsel in many areas of our life.
We will explore threads of these traditional teachings and then engage in Spirit Journey to find connection with some of our own Ancestors: Those of our Blood Lineage, Spiritual Lineage, Lineages of vocation, creative endeavors, ancestors of land that we love and others.
We are fortunate to be meeting for this workshop on the 1st of November: Samhain in the Celtic Calendar.
This Cross Quarter Day is a time when the veils between the worlds are said to thin, and when the ancestors and those that still live may more easily converse and meet.
The beautiful wooded land upon which Avalon Lodge rests is a powerful and sacred site. We will ask at the beginning our day's journey, That the spirits and ancestors of this land, support our best intentions and work for ourselves and the healing of others.
