Cautions
Citrus oils can have phototoxic effects, so it’s best to avoid sun exposure for 12 hours if you put it on your skin. Also, cats are not able to properly metabolize citrus essential oils, so don’t use them directly on your cat or have them in an enclosed room when using citrus essential oils.
With all essential oils, it is important to use a therapeutic grade oil. Especially if you are going to use them internally. I personally use dōTERRA brand. Any of their oils marked Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade are safe to use internally.
Orange essential oil is very versatile and I consider it one of the top essential oils to have on hand. If you’d like to learn more about Orange essential oil, or other essential oil uses, I invite you to contact me at shannon@kbytes.com or visit my dōTERRA site: https://mydoterra.com/k9bytes
