Using Essential Oils for Flea and Tick Prevention

Using Essential Oils for Flea and Tick Prevention

As the weather starts to warm up this Spring and you get outside more with your pet, fleas and ticks can become a problem. Fleas can cause itching, scratching and discomfort for your dog. Ticks can cause Lyme disease. So, it is important to prevent flea and tick bites in the first place if possible.

A natural way to control fleas and ticks is with essential oils. You should always be sure to use high quality, therapeutic grade essential oils such as dōTERRA.

Following are a couple of DIY recipes for flea and tick prevention.
