Diving around Roatan is spectacular and attracts scuba divers from all over the world. Roatan is renown for diving and offers many spectacular dive sites to explore.

Also, in the event of any decompression emergency, there are two recompression tanks available, one at the Episcopal Medical Center in Coxen Hole, approximately 30 minutes from West End or West Bay by car, the other located in Sandy Bay at the Marine Institute, about 15 minutes by car from West End or West Bay.
