Research and Education on Cancer Treatment Options Serving Patients, Caregivers and Medical Professionals Since 2001 |
|
Our Philosophy: Knowledge is powerand hope. Cancer patients, their families and their physicians want, need and deserve access to all the best knowledge they want about available treatment options. We know these folks have far more important things to do than spend hours online. Your Cancer Source
(YCS) was born from years of painful personal experience in coping with
cancer and all the overwhelming decisions that were required. We simply
wanted to make this difficult learning process more effective and efficient
for cancer patients and those who care for them. The conclusions of medical
research are nearly always imperfect, but individual patients must make
life or death decisions anyway. If you are a cancer patient, we sincerely
hope this information helps you make better decisions, save precious time
and remain hopeful. We are in the process of training a select group of medical professionals to be used as needed on a consulting basis. We hope to help answer any questions you can't answer yourself by studying the web sites listed in the useful web sites section. Please email us if you would like to be trained as a volunteer research assistant. We are looking for newly retired physicians and other doctoral level pharmaceutical research professionals.
